X-ray results are reportedly for Mac Jones

The New England Patriots got some good news after losing to the Baltimore Ravens on quarterback Mac Jones on Sunday.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the X-ray on Mac Jones's ankle came back negative. However, evaluation of his ankle will continue till next week.

There was some concern among fans when Jones was seen limping off the field during the game. He was taken to the locker room and could not put any weight on his leg.

Jones' result negative looks like the team has survived the worst of a broken ankle, but that doesn't mean they're out of the woods right now.

He will have to see how he responds to the treatment as he has a big game against the Green Bay Packers next Sunday.

Jones finished this most recent game through the air for 321 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions.
