NFL World Reacts To Terrible Lamar Jackson Update

By : Raam Dhakad

The Baltimore Ravens are looking shaky at best without their star quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has missed the last three games for the Ravens while dealing with a knee injury.

Jackson has not practiced since suffering the injury, and the Ravens have decided that he will be inactive for the team's upcoming game on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jackson's original injury timeline suggested he could miss up to three weeks with his strained PCL injury.

It's now been more than three weeks since the initial injury suffered, and many Ravens fans are asking questions about when he could potentially return and what's holding up his recovery process.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh discussed the situation on Friday, saying that Jackson is "progressing well".

But it's a "reasonable assumption" that backup quarterback Tyler Huntley will start on Sunday.

It's unclear exactly when Jackson will return, but the elephant in the room is Jackson's upcoming contract status with the Ravens at the end of this NFL season.

Jackson is set to become a free agent after rejecting a contract extension back in September.

He may of course be sitting out to make sure he doesn't get injured again and jeopardize his upcoming contract negotiations, which could cost the Ravens this year.
