NFL World Reacts To Robert Griffin III Job News
ESPN's Monday Night Countdown is adding a new face to its crew for the upcoming season.
On Wednesday, ESPN announced that former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III would be one of three analysts for Monday Night Countdown.
Booger McFarland and Steve Young are returning for another season. Suzy Kolber will continue to be the host of Monday Night Countdown. This will be his sixth year in that role.
So far, reactions to ESPN's announcement have been divided. There are also some fans who are happy to have Griffin join the Monday Night Countdown.
And of course, there are fans who would rather choose a different analyst for their weekly show than ESPN.
Monday Night Countdown will kick off its regular season slate on September 12 covering a showdown between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks.
"We don't deserve this as football fans," tweeted one fan. Then we'll see how Griffin fits in with the rest of the crew.
