NFL World Reacts To Cowboys' Michael Gallup Decision

The Dallas Cowboys' refusal to place injured wide receiver Michael Gallup on the reserve/PUP list left the door open for a possible return within the first four weeks of the 2022 season.

If the Cowboys had kept Gallup on the list, he would have been forced to sit out for at least 4 weeks.

The team has until next Tuesday to place Gallup on the reserve/PUP list. The NFL world took to Twitter to react to the decision.

One fan said, "Gallup has already ruled himself out for Week 1, but maybe hopefully he'll be back in Week 2.

“As a Michael Gallup enthusiast and Noah Brown devotee, hearing this news has made me feel a certain way,” said another.

“If Gallup comes back by week 3-4, the offense is going to spice up much quicker than expected. This also means we may see rotations of Lamb, Gallup and WR3 that vary by formation.

Gallup is one of several injured wide receivers on the Cowboys' depth charts. An earlier comeback for the team's No. 2 wideout will be a massive boost for the offensive unit.
