Joey Gallo has a new home as the outfielder is joining the Minnesota Twins on a one-year deal.

The Twins would be Gallo's third team in two seasons, after spending his first six seasons with the Texas Rangers.

He was traded to the New York Yankees before the 2021 trade deadline, but was a bust, hitting .159 and striking out 194 times in 140 games.

Last August, he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers and played 44 games for them, hitting .162 with seven home runs and 23 RBI.

The 29-year-old has a chance to resurrect his declining career in Minnesota. And it's not like he's far from better days, having been an All-Star as recently as 2021.
