Lakers Rumors: LeBron James 'may' Have Desire to Team Up with Boston All-Star

NBA insider Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson suggests LeBron James may try to team up with Celtics forward Jaylon Brown.

LeBron James has at least one more season with the Lakers. He is currently eligible for a contract extension with LA, but his future at the Lakers is very much up in the air.

It's hard to believe that James would move on from the Lakers and a city he is by all accounts very happy living in.

However, LeBron is never afraid to move to another franchise if he believes his current position won't lead to a shot at the title.

He is one of the pioneers in joining other All-Stars to increase the odds of his title. "LeBron may wish to be a teammate with Jaylen in the future."

On Monday, NBA insider Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson mentioned LeBron's admiration for Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jaylen Brown.

Most insiders believe LeBron will sign an extension beyond the 2022-2023 season, but at best, it will be a two-year extension with the 2024-2025 season being a player option.
