James Harden's Viral Tweet On Sunday

On Sunday, Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden sent out a tweet that the 76ers would be playing the New York Knicks on Christmas Day.

NBA reporter Mark Stein later confirmed the news. At the trading deadline last season, Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets to the 76ers.

Harden began his season playing for the Brooklyn Nets, but was sent to the 76ers in a blockbuster deal by the trading deadline.

The deal sent three-time NBA All-Star Ben Simmons to the Nets. Harden finished his season with an average of 22.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 10.3 assists per competition.

The 76ers finished as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference, and they defeated the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the NBA playoffs in six games.

There's reason to believe the 76ers could be even better next season. Harden and All-Star center Joel Embiid will have an entire regular season together.

They are one of the most talented pair in basketball. A full season together would make them pretty much used to playing each other before the playoffs.
