Aaron Rodgers hints at new favorite receiver
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will need to find a new top receiver this season, and based on Rodgers' recent wardrobe selections, it looks like Alan Lazard may be the guy.
According to Green Bay Packers beat writer Matt Schneideman of The Athletic, Rodgers was seen wearing a special T-shirt in the Packers' locker room.
"Still photography is not allowed in the locker room and he didn't speak today, but Lazard could be his new favorite target this season.
The shirt's message is certainly new and may give an indication of what Green Bay's offense might look like this season.
Everything Rodgers has to say about Lazard plays out exactly as it does all preseason. "Obviously, Alan Lazard is going to step into the No. 1 role.
Rodgers said of Lazard in July, "And I think it's going to be a very smooth transition for him as a primary deterrent and a niche guy.
Rodgers is making his views on Lazard very clear. Now we just have to see what Green Bay crime looks like as a result.
